Our general advice service provides practical information, guidance and support on a range of community needs and rights including:
- Welfare and Social Security
- Housing
- Health
- Employment, Education, Training
- Immigration
- Consumer issues
- Disability
- Need to talk
Activities include providing up-to-date mother-tongue information by interpreting and explaining correspondence to clients, writing letters, arranging appointments, support applications/cases/appeals by completing forms. We advocate our service users’ needs by undertaking casework including advocacy and provide access to complementary provision.
We also regularly run group workshops on issues experienced by the community and practical support available. See our event calendar for regular updates.
This service is AQS quality marked and the immigration advice service is OISC registered.
Drop-in Services: Monday and Tuesday, from 11 am—4 pm.
Appointments available depending on level and nature of needs.
